She graduated from Universidad De Costa Rica, Facultad De Medicina in 1987.  Dr. Acon is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.  She completed her residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in 2007. She is affiliated with Memorial Hospital Miramar.

Dr Alicia Acon is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OBGYN), who can provide extensive care for routine gynecology and family planning, noncancerous gynecologic problems including gynecologic surgery, pregnancy and routine reproductive health care.
